Vinegar Jones commands an enviable location close to Lake Windermere in the very popular bustling town of Bowness. Paul and Tracey are committed to ensure their food and service is of the highest standard. Free range cod and haddock are sustainably caught and supplied fresh every day from Morecambe and Fleetwood. Fish are coated in Paul’s delicious special batter and potatoes are hand-cut to provide perfect crispy chips. The varied menu offers all the traditional favourites including burgers, fish burgers, pies and a selection of sides and condiments.
Vinegar Jones takes the responsibility of allergen awareness seriously and caters for gluten free, vegetarian and halal requirements. Gluten free fish, fishcakes and chips are prepared in separate dedicated fryers and clearly labelled accordingly.
