The Walnut Tree Bar and Restaurant is located on the outskirts of the historic cathedral city of Chichester with its many fascinating places of interest to visit. The charming building has a wooden pergola over the front entrance with colourful climbing plants and hanging baskets throughout the summer. Inside the decor is delightfully traditional with open brickwork, polished wood and tiled flooring, mellow lighting and an abundance of unusual features such as a vintage range cooker and large scale model aircraft. Comfortable furnishings and an open fire create a wonderfully cosy and relaxed atmosphere. To the rear is an attractive spacious patio and a garden area for families with ample seating, the perfect spot to dine al fresco in the warmer months.

Delicious meals are lovingly prepared using only premium quality fresh produce locally sourced whenever possible. Those with dietary requirements are also catered for including gluten free. A full separate GF menu and GF Sunday Lunch menu are provided with an impressive range of options. The friendly and knowledgeable staff are always happy to answer questions regarding food preparation and ingredients and advise on menu choice. Choose from a selection of appetising Starters (including Olives & Bread, Soup, Roasted King Prawns, Seafood Mornay) and succulent Mains (numerous meat dishes, poultry, fish and more) all served with choice of seasonal vegetables, new potatoes or chips. To round off why not indulge your taste buds in an irresistible Dessert. The traditional GF Sunday Lunch menu offers one, two or three courses and smaller portions are available for children.
