The Rupert Brooke Bar & Kitchen is located in the delightful village of Grantchester close to the historic city of Cambridge and just a 10 minute walk from the picturesque River Cam. Named after the famous local poet, The Rupert Brooke sits at the heart of the community. Following a total refurbishment in recent years it is now a stunning contemporary venue providing a restaurant, stylish feature bar, conservatory, courtyard, roof terrace and garden each offering various dining options in a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere.
This venue has gained a reputation with locals and visitors alike for its excellent food and drink, great service and professional approach. The talented chef and team are proud to offer British food with a creative twist using premium quality, fresh seasonal produce which is locally sourced whenever possible. Dishes are lovingly prepared and beautifully presented at your table. The brasserie style lunch and dinner menus offer a selection of appetising Starters, succulent Mains (meat, fish, seafood, poultry, vegetarian), Sides, and irresistible Puddings. A Children’s menu is also available. The popular Sunday sharing roast is not to be missed!
For that extra special treat why not indulge in an Afternoon Tea (advance booking required). A choice of two menus offer a mouth watering selection of sweet and savoury delights, all with a charming theme inspired by wild flowers and nature.
Dietary requirements are also well catered for across the menus including gluten free (GF), vegetarian (V), vegan (VG) and dairy free (DF) which are clearly marked. Food items containing nuts are also identified (N). Please make your server aware of any allergies or dietary requests when ordering. The friendly and knowledgeable staff are more than happy to answer questions regarding food preparation and ingredients and to advise on menu choice.
