This charming family-run hotel, restaurant and brasserie is situated between Gullane Golf Course and the popular seaside town of North Berwick with easy road and rail links to the beautiful surrounding countryside and places of interest. The hotel stands in a delightfully tranquil location opposite historic Dirleton Castle and overlooking the village green. Accommodation offers 12 luxuriously appointed and individually designed en-suite bedrooms incorporating traditional Scottish décor. Rooms are also fully equipped with TV, complimentary wi-fi, tea/coffee maker and luxury toiletries. The lounge areas are comfortable and cosy with open fires in the winter and during the warmer months a courtyard provides the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a pre-dinner drink.

Meals are freshly prepared using locally sourced seasonal produce whenever possible and are beautifully presented to your table. Relax and enjoy à la carte menus in the stylish contemporary Deveau’s Brasserie or Marquee Room. For a more formal setting choose the elegant Library Restaurant with its wonderful ambience and fine dining menu. Function rooms are also available for private occasions.
The impressive menus provide an appetising selection of Starters, delicious Mains (including Scottish beef, venison, poultry, fish, sea food, vegetarian), and irresistible Desserts. The drinks list offers an excellent range of wines, whiskies, liqueur coffees and premium teas. The Open Arms also caters for those requiring a gluten free diet and although GF is not marked on the menus, many of the dishes can be adapted on request. The friendly and knowledgeable staff are more than happy to answer questions regarding food preparation and ingredients and advise on menu choice.
