The delightful Olive Tree coffee house and bistro occupies a delightful location overlooking Bude Canal in this historic seaside town. A beautiful stone building houses the spacious rustic style dining room with white painted brick walls, wooden beams and traditional pine furniture. A comfortable conservatory provides further seating. The outside patio area sits alongside the water’s edge and is a most attractive sight with its colourful sun shades and flower troughs making it the perfect spot to relax and admire the view during the warmer months. Dogs are welcome outside too.
This popular licensed venue has gained a reputation with locals and visitors alike for its excellent food using locally sourced fresh produce whenever possible. Open throughout the day and on Friday and Saturday evenings, the extensive menu offers a selection of breakfasts, tasty snacks and lunches (including wholesome salads, sandwiches with various fillings, soup, pasta, meat & fish dishes, vegan & vegetarian options), various burgers with choice of toppings, substantial Ploughman’s (served with local cheeses, ham & accompaniments), Tacos (delicious fillings & salad), and choice of nibbles and sides. A fantastic selection of freshly baked cakes and desserts are always available and not to be missed! In addition, evening meals offer appetising starters, creative main dishes which are beautifully presented to your table, and irresistible desserts. A Kids’ menu is also provided and there is also a takeaway option for drinks.
