About
Located in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty within the beautiful Denbighshire countryside lies the historic village of Dyserth. The New Inn country pub is at the heart of this close knit community and extends a warm welcome to locals and visitors alike. Originally a pay-house and hostelry for coal miners, the 400 year old building retains a traditional interior with wooden beams, large brick fireplace and stone walls crammed with interesting memorabilia to create a charming and cosy atmosphere. Blending the old with the new, a separate dining room has been extended to provide stylish contemporary furnishings and decor. Within the wheelchair accessible gardens is an attractive decking area complete with heated wooden pods and children’s play area. With views of the famous Dyserth Waterfall, it is the perfect place to relax and unwind with a drink in the warmer months.
The restaurant has deservedly gained a reputation for its excellent cuisine and choice of real ales. Meals are cooked to order using only fresh, locally sourced produce whenever possible. The extensive menus also cater for dietary requirements including vegetarian. Those requiring gluten free have a separate “Coeliac Menu” and the friendly and knowledgeable staff are more than happy to answer any questions regarding food preparation and ingredients. The impressive range of options include Starters (soup, paté, moules Marinière, tempura king prawns); Mains (succulent steaks, lamb & chicken, gammon, cod, rice dishes, salads); selection of side orders (seasonal vegetables, chips, sweet potato fries and coleslaw); choice of desserts. There is also a daily specials board and the renowned New Inn Sunday roast lunch is not to be missed!
