The London Inn occupies a prime corner position in this historic town known for its fine stone and timber-framed buildings and medieval churches. Dating originally from the 1930s, the pub underwent a major refurbishment in 2011 and is now located over three levels with two outside seating areas. The interior design successfully blends traditional character features such as leaded windows and wooden beams with contemporary decor and styling to create a cosy and welcoming atmosphere in which to relax and enjoy great food and drink accompanied by live music at the weekends.
A very popular venue with locals and visitors alike, the impressive menu has a fantastic range of home cooked meals with something for everyone. Choose from classic pub favourites, delicious meat/fish/poultry dishes, steaks, curries, stacked burgers with various fillings, sharing platters, fajitas/wings/nachos, paninis with fries, selection of sides, kids’ meals, irresistible desserts and much more! The menu also caters for those with dietary requirements and offers gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options. A separate gluten free menu is provided and choices include various salad dishes, Ribeye Steak with jacket potato & accompaniments, Chargrilled Chicken Breast with jacket potato & salad, Gammon Steak with egg, pineapple, peas & jacket potato. A delicious gluten free breakfast is also available and a not-to-be-missed Sunday roast is served throughout the day. Other dishes may be available so please make your server aware of your dietary needs.
