Located in a picturesque setting close to the River Weaver, the Leigh Arms is at the heart of the rural village of Little Leigh, a close knit community proud of their heritage. A warm and friendly welcome awaits you at this cosy pub and restaurant full of character and charm. Recently refurbished, it is an ideal place to enjoy a drink or meal in comfortable surroundings. Simply relax in the lounge with a complimentary newspaper, enjoy a drink in the cosy snug, or sit outside in the garden where children can occupy themselves safely in the play area.
Our excellent menus offer traditional British and European dishes, all freshly prepared by our team of experienced chefs. There are also lighter meals and sandwiches available. We endeavour to cater for individual dietary requirements and can offer an extensive gluten free menu. Vegan options are available on request.
Gluten free starters include a Mini Deli Board (Ham, cheddar, stilton, pickled onions, gherkins & celery), Tian of prawns in a rich Marie Rose sauce layered with smoked salmon with GF bread & butter, or Strips of Sirloin stir-fried with peppers, onions and Cajun spices served with a rocket salad.
Gluten free Mains – which to choose? Try Thai-style marinated chicken kebabs with peppers & onions, served with spicy red pepper jam, dressed salad and chips. Or maybe the ever popular Freshly battered fish of the day with garden or mushy peas, house tartare sauce and chips. Then again it could be Curry of the Day served with rice, mango chutney and poppadums. What a choice!
Gluten free lighter meals are available too. Jacket potatoes with a variety of fillings, Ham & eggs with chips, or Peppered mushrooms in a creamy stilton sauce on GF bread.
Irresistible GF dessert options include Caramel & roasted peanut tart served with cream or ice cream and the famous Leigh Arms Wild Berry Mess. Enjoy!
In addition to our delicious food we also offer an extensive wine list and range of ales and lagers. Our cask ales will certainly please the connoisseur with guest selections changing frequently.
