Ideally located in the heart of the historic city of York, The Cut & Craft is a spectacular steak and beer restaurant specialising in delicious flat iron steak and craft beers. The smart exterior invites you in to a stunning contemporary and stylish space with statement circular bar around which radiates an informal lounge and dining area. With a nod to York’s history, the White Rose of Yorkshire is symbolised throughout the design details including the beautiful hand painted ceiling. An abundance of rich timberwork, brass fittings, luxurious jewel coloured furnishings and soft mellow lighting create a wonderfully warm and relaxing atmosphere. The open plan kitchen provides an interesting backdrop where visitors can observe master chefs at work.
The restaurant has deservedly gained a reputation for its fantastic food including, of course, the signature 10 oz flat iron steak. The team are passionate about catering for dietary requirements and offer vegetarian and vegan options plus a full separate gluten free menu which will leave you spoilt for choice! Dishes are freshly cooked and beautifully presented to your table. The friendly and knowledgeable staff are more than happy to answer questions regarding food preparation and ingredients and advise on menu choice. GF options include appetising Nibbles & Starters, Fresh Oysters, Main Dishes (Fish, Seafood, Meat & Poultry), Salads, selection of succulent Premium Steaks, Craft Burgers, Classic Dishes and irresistible Desserts. Tasty Sides include House Chips and selection of delicious Sauces. In addition the drinks list includes a great range of craft beers, ciders, wines, spirits, gins, cocktails and more.
