The Cowshed is a superb, contemporary upbeat restaurant, located in the Clifton area of Bristol. There is an extensive and diverse choice of gluten free dishes on the menu, which are cooked to a very high standard by their talented chefs and team. Everyone here is very passionate about serving delicious and honest, home cooked food in an informal and relaxed environment. Great emphasis is placed on only using the finest, freshest produce and in sourcing the best quality, locally sourced ingredients in their cooking, so that they can bring some of the special produce in the South West to your dining experience. The chefs here create exciting, inspired dishes which are vibrant, colourful, have a myriad of flavours and are always very attractively presented. As well as sourcing meat from their own butchers Ruby and White, The Cowsheds close proximity to their fish supplier in Brixham and West country producers, enables the restaurant to continually offer appetizing, rotating specials and to use the best of what is in season. Why not try one of their succulent steaks – their option of Steak on Stone, which allows allows you to cook your own steak, you chose your favourite cut, sauce and sides and you can cook it just as you like it, on their very own hot stone plate. There are other options too, their daily fish special is simply delicious and they have a fantastic range of wonderful vegetarian main courses.
