A warm welcome awaits you at the delightful Holly House Tea Rooms located in the picturesque village of Cheddar close to the famous Cheddar Caves. Originally a cottage, the whitewashed building has retained character and charm with its bow windows, gaily striped awning and pretty hanging baskets, while the cosy vintage-style interior is full of interesting pictures and bric-a-brac including a wonderful collection of teapots. There is also an attractive garden courtyard, the perfect place to relax and enjoy a delicious speciality cream tea.
Family-run by father Trevor and daughter Vikki, Holly House provides homemade, freshly prepared food using locally sourced produce whenever possible. The impressive menu offers All-Day Breakfasts, Light Bites, Sandwiches and Paninis, Jacket Potatoes, Ploughman’s and Salads plus an irresistible selection of home baked cakes, scones, sweet treats and Ice Cream Sundaes. Special dietary requirements are also catered for including gluten free, vegan and dairy free. Gluten free bread and scones are freshly baked on the premises and much of the menu is available gluten free. The friendly and knowledgeable staff are more than happy to help and answer any questions regarding food preparation and ingredients. A children’s menu is also available with gluten free options across the menu.
