Founded in 1988 this family run, city centre Bar and Bistro has been serving Hereford the finest bistro food, world wine and beer for over 30 years.
Gilbies meets your every need for food or drink, serving a concise lunchtime and evening menu, with an extensive wine list and back bar.
We have a cosy restaurant setting and a beautiful private courtyard under the spire of St Peters church, accessed through High Town. We pride ourselves on our personal service and welcoming atmosphere. You can order as much or as little to eat as you wish, and our small plates are perfect for a long leisurely evening with a bottle of wine.
All of our dishes are prepared on site from locally sourced, fresh, seasonal produce and the menus change weekly depending on what is available.
We offer vegetarian, vegan and gluten free dishes but if you have any specific requirements, just let us know in advance and we will see what we can do. We also serve a range of vegan and gluten free drinks.
