The Townhouse is ideally located in the heart of Stratford within easy walking distance of the Royal Shakespeare Theatre and other attractions of this fascinating historic town. Housed within a 400 year old, half-timbered Tudor Grade II listed building, the hotel combines tradition and elegance with contemporary decor and styling to create a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. The spacious dining areas are bright and modern yet retain the character and features of the original building. Accommodation provides 12 en-suite bedrooms, each individually designed to a high standard.
Open throughout the day, the bistro-style restaurant offers an à la carte menu and a pre-theatre set menu (available lunch and early evening only). Meals are freshly prepared using quality produce from local suppliers whenever possible. The Townhouse also caters for those with dietary requirements including gluten free (GF), vegetarian (V) and vegan (VE) and is Coeliac UK accredited. The friendly and knowledgeable staff are more than happy to answer questions regarding food preparation and ingredients. GF options include Breakfast, Nibbles, Light Bites, Mains (such as 8oz Pork Ribeye, Sweet Potato Gnocchi, Vegan Burger, The Townhouse Salad) and side dishes and sauces to accompany the meal of your choice. Dishes can also be adapted on request, such as Afternoon Tea with delicious GF scones.
