Superbly located on Llandudno’s delightful seafront is the magnificent St George’s Hotel. Originally built in 1854, this elegant hotel retains the architectural grandeur of earlier times while skilfully combining the contemporary features expected of today’s discerning visitor to create one of North Wales’ premier venues.
The St George has also deservedly gained a reputation for its award winning cuisine, whether it be hosting a grand event in the spectacular Wedgwood Room or an intimate dinner for two in the popular Terrace Restaurant overlooking Llandudno Bay. The restaurant also caters for those with food allergies including gluten intolerance. Gluten free options are clearly marked on the menu and the friendly and knowledgeable staff are happy to answer any questions regarding food preparation and ingredients.
Serving excellent food throughout the day, the menu offers breakfast, morning coffee, sandwiches & wraps, light bites & starters, afternoon tea and evening meals. Morning foods include GF breakfast baps with Grilled Sausage or Bacon and Scrambled Eggs with Smoked Salmon on Toast. GF sandwiches offer a delicious selection of fillings, all served with crisps & salad garnish or, alternatively, with Chef’s Soup of the Day. From 12pm lunchtime GF light bites & starters include Smoked Haddock & Spring Onion Risotto with a Poached Egg, Chicken Liver Paté with Fruit Chutney & Toasted Brioche, or Classic Caesar Salad. For that special treat why not indulge in a GF Afternoon Tea – Dainty Finger Sandwiches, Scone with Jam & Clotted Cream and mouth-watering cakes and pastries. A selection of fine teas and authentic Italian coffees is always available, or make it extra special with a glass of something sparkling! Among GF evening meals are succulent Sirloin Steak cooked to your liking, or Fillet of Salmon, both served with a selection of tasty side dishes.
