Fairhaven Woodland and Water Garden is a hidden gem located in the heart of the beautiful Norfolk Broads and promises a wonderful experience for all the family. With private access to the South Walsham Broad, these wonderful organically managed gardens are home to a large variety of wildlife and superb plants.
There is much to see and do here but no visit would be complete without sampling the delights of the award-winning Kingfisher Tearoom. Open all year round, non-garden visitors are also welcome. The bright and colourful cafe offers breakfasts, snacks, light lunches and main meals plus delicious homemade cakes, pastries and local ice creams. A summer speciality is homemade scones served with jam and clotted cream and choice of Fairtrade tea or coffee.
Much of the menu is locally sourced and also caters for those wishing to eat Gluten Free. Vegetarian, vegan, diabetic and dairy free options are also available. Whatever your choice, the friendly and knowledgeable staff are more than happy to answer any questions you may have regarding food preparation.
Daily Gluten Free lunch specials include such tempting dishes as Mediterranean Tomato Bake with Basmati Rice, Pea and Mint Soup, and Pasta Bolognese. Among sweet treat options choose from a wide selection of delicious homemade cakes such as Carrot, Chocolate or Marmalade. An indulgent Gluten Free Afternoon Tea with selection of sandwiches, cakes and scones with jam and fresh cream is also available (please give 24 hours notice).
