Cranberry Swamp is a vibrant and funky licensed restaurant, located on Skinner Street in the traditional seaside town of Whitby and specialising in gluten free food. The spacious main restaurant has a large window frontage and is colourfully decorated and furnished in a cool retro style. Enjoy an excellent coffee with a GF cake or savour delicious, freshly cooked food in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.
There is a range of tasty and alternative breakfasts such as Avocado & Bacon on toast, Porridge and gorgeous House Kedgeree, and speciality Mex Eggs. There is also a wide choice of light meals served throughout the day including soup, chilli vegetarian ratatouille as well as sandwiches or rolls with a selection of fillings. The friendly and knowledgeable staff are more than happy to answer any questions you may have regarding food preparation and ingredients. The family-friendly restaurant offers a separate menu for children with GF options available. Colouring books and games are provided to keep the little ones occupied.
On Friday and Saturday evenings a Mexican tapas-style menu provides a variety of dishes including tacos and quesadillas, served on GF corn tortillas.
