About
If you’re looking for a cafe with a personality and a great Gluten Free Menu.. then you’ve come to the right place!
Owned and run by Jacqui Unal, (or Betty, if you’re wanting her “1940’s” name!) the 19 Fourteas Tea Rooms is a beautifully decorated venue, a really lovely step back in time.
With our friendly staff and inviting atmosphere, you’ll feel right at home in our little tea rooms. Our decor is a mix of authentic 1940’s, and memories from local (and not so local) customers. Our team are always up for a laugh, and love to hear your stories. We often provide live entertainment of songs from the by-gone era for you to join in with too.
We are proud to have been awarded Small Business of the Year 2016 and also achieved 5 on our food hygiene rating.
“A Unique and quirky venue with great Gluten Free options. We highly recommend a visit!”
The 19 Fourteas Tea Rooms is about so much more than food. Our unique building and decor means there’s new things to discover everywhere, or, if you prefer, simply a lovely place to sit back and enjoy a cup of tea. Inside the Tea Rooms our building has an upstairs area as well as downstairs. In the main part of the tea rooms, are your typical chairs and tables, in our inviting and fabulously themed building.
Upstairs we have our 1940’s lounge area, suitable for up to 10 people at a time, where you can relax on luxury sofas and armchairs with your tea and food.
Downstairs our seating downstairs can hold up to 25 people at any one time.
Our garden is currently open, so pop in for some tea and cake in the sun.
