There is also a ‘seven mile menu’, promoting talented local producers. This is a new concept replacing the daily specials board. Each month an independent supplier, located within a seven mile radius of Durlston National Park, will be offering dishes to showcase their products, in order to raise awareness of the great tastes and talent that Purbeck has to offer.
This is a spacious, immaculately presented establishment with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The attentive staff are more than happy to help you choose the highlighted gluten free options from the menu. They are also on hand to answer all questions and provide reassurance about food preparation.
For something light, a range of teas, freshly brewed coffees, homemade cakes, including delicious gluten free treats, are served throughout the day. Or take your time over an evening meal, choosing from a fixed price or a la carte menu. The gluten free fish and chips is a firm favourite – a sustainable fillet in a Dorset ale batter accompanied with homemade tartar sauce, crushed minted peas and triple cooked chips. If fish is not your choice, no problem, as there are plenty of other gluten free options to tempt you.
